MeetingsTheme Walks will take place once a month. They are intended to bring all walkers together in a social event/walk to promote friendship and provide information. Those wanting to participate as volunteer walk leaders can call the Recreation and Community Services Office at 613-966-4632. 
Walks are always held Tuesday mornings at the South George Street Canteen at 9:00 AM. For additional times, please call 613-966-4632.
DescriptionBelleville Walks is a no fee, no registration walking programme for fun, fitness and information..all ages, all abilities. It is an opportunity to gain new friends, to discover the joy of participation, improve health, to set and reach personal goals and to learn new things about our community while enjoying the beautiful trails and scenery. Just lace up your shoes, get out your cane, slide into your wheelchair, put the baby in the storller and start a walking adventure for the rest of your life. 
Maps of the walks, pedometers and Walk Record Cards are available from the Recreation & Community Services Department.
Sup. DescriptionWalkers are encouraged to form their own groups based on interest and ability. Some suggestions are: Adult Walkers (Strollers or Speed), Parents and Strollers, Seniors, Wheelchair Buddies, Joints in Motion for those with hip/knee replacements, Dog Walkers. Assistance is available by contacting the numbers provided above. 
More Volunteer Walk Leaders are always welcome.
