| Supplementary Description | Providing Palliative care to terminally ill persons and support to their caregivers *Services are offered in the patients' home, hospital, or long term care facility *Trained volunteers *Needs assessment and referrals are required *All referrals are accepted providing the patient and family are aware *Bereavement support groups are also available to our patients, their family members, and members of the community *We also have a new Rainbows Program which is grief support for children *Hospice Quinte also has a small supply of medical equipment for loan to our patients at no cost *Our resource lending library consisting of books and audio & video tapes which are available to the general public on a sign out basis | ||
