| Description | Community Learning Alternatives, formerly Quinte Adult Day School (QADS), was established in 1978. The Mission of CLA is to provide adult learners with a professional environment in which they can meet their goals through education and skills training. As such, CLA provides upgrading opportunities for adults with employment and education goals through experiential learning programs, small group classes, supported independent learning, and individual tutoring. A focus on the development of essential skills as they relate to the workplace and academic settings is maintained by following the Ontario Adult Literacy Curriculum Framework and offering a wide selection of authentic workplace materials and occupational curricula. | ||
