| Description | For women with young families there is opportunities to build upon current skills in order to enrich their lives and their families. For the family there are many partnering agencies to assist the families in advocating for themselves while building a support network. Programs in parenting*nutrition*cooking*household management. Participants are provided with time assistance resources to upgrade their education. Job readiness skills are supported for those wishing to join or rejoin the workforce. A licensed daycare at our centre enables the mothers to pursue their goals while feeling secure that their children are safe and cared for. The children birth to six enjoy learning through play as well as early learning and school readiness programs to help prepare them for success in grade one. | ||
| Supplementary Description | Licensed daycare is also available to any family or parent that wishes to have their children attend centre that provides home cooked meals prepared by our college trained chef. There are registered early childcare education staff that use the same teaching tools found in the classrooms of the elementary schools. | ||
