DescriptionThe Mental Health Support Network, South East Ontario Corp. is committed to serving people, 16 years of age and older, who have experience with the mental health system. The network provides a range of peer support initiatives, within 7 communities (Belleville, Kingston, Napanee, Trenton, Madoc, Bancroft, Picton and Prescott) with the intent of reconnecting people to their communities through available resources and services. MHSN offers a basket of services which include but are not limited to Peer Support, Employment and Education Opportunities, Social and Recreational Activities, Resources – Library, Computer/Internet access and Advocating for individuals. In addition, our Belleville, Trenton and Bancroft Support Centres are needle exchange sites providing new needles, alcohol swabs, sterile water, sharps containers and needle disposal.
