Description & Services
DescriptionCAS provides child protection services within our community seven days a week, twenty four hours a day, to the children and families of Hastings and Northumberland Counties. Operating under the mandate of the Child and Family Services Act, CAS is a provincially funded non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors elected from the local community. Services include investigations of allegations of child abuse and neglect, support to families and out of home placement in approved adoptive or foster homes or group care programs. Programs and services are developed in response to the needs of the community and the child welfare mandate. Membership Fees: $5/per year See also Quinte Children's Foundation.
