Description & Services
Description (Service) A tobacco control program that offers young adults smoking and quitting information, personalized support, and quitting resources. It includes the “wouldurather” contest, free 8-week treatment of nicotine patches/gum (while supplies last) and age-tailored quit smoking booklets. 
Nicotine Replacement Therapy -- Young adults may be eligible for 8-weeks of free nicotine patches or gum for free, delivered to their door. Orders must be placed online through the Leave The Pack Behind’s online ordering platform. 
Self-help Books -- LTPB’s mini-booklets are evidence-based and proven to work for young adults. These booklets offer tips for dealing with people who nag them to quit and offers information about quitting and strategies that help handle nicotine withdrawal and control cravings. 
The annual contest -- Young adults can choose to quit, cut back, or stay tobacco-free for a chance to win up to $5,000 in the January contest. The contest has been proven to increase young adults’ odds of becoming tobacco-free! For more information: https://wouldurather.ca/
