Description & Services
Description (Service) Diabetes education program for adults with Type 2 diabetes * led by a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, the program includes individual assessments, a five week group session covering all aspects of diabetes management * free of charge * snack is provided * follow-up support group is offered * occasional classes run in the evenings

Meetings Program runs in a 2.5-hour session per week for five weeks * offered three times a year

Eligibility North Kingston residents with Type 2 diabetes * greater Kingston residents may be accommodated as space is available
