Description (Service) Peer Support program * nation-wide, telephone-based, emotional support service * provides people recently diagnosed with cancer (or a recurrence) and their caregivers an opportunity to talk to a trained volunteer who has experienced cancer first hand * callers are matched to a trained volunteer based on their most important needs
