Description (Service) On-site early intervention and crisis intervention * safety planning * referrals to community services * * enhanced support for vulnerable victims * assistance with applications to VQRP

Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP) -- immediate assistance with emergency expenses related to the incident, including emergency home safety, accommodation, meals, transportation, dependent care costs, counselling, cellular phones, vision care, crime scene cleanup, and funeral expenses * additional assistance for victims of human trafficking include replacement of government documents, storage locker, dental, tattoo removal, and treatment at a recovery facility * no direct reimbursement to victims

Human Trafficking Program: Immediate assistance for victims of human trafficking including on-going support, emergency expenses related to safety and recovery, and referrals to appropriate servicesbr>
Family Court Support Worker Program: information on the family court process * assistance in preparing for family court proceedings (documenting history of abuse, accessing Legal Aid) * referral to specialized services and supports in the community * safety planning * court accompaniment to proceedings when appropriate

Senior Safety Program: safety planning for seniors * offers on site safety planning for seniors to help make their home less desirable to criminals * information kits for seniors with safety planning tips also provided

Mobile Tracking Program: GPS enabled tracking devices for high risk victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking & harassment and elder abuse * safety planning * ongoing support

STAR Program: Supporting Teens At Risk * ongoing support for teenage victims of crime and trauma including historical events * information and referral

Areas Served Leeds and Grenville United Counties
Eligibility Victims of crime and tragic circumstances * VQRP -- victims of violent crime who have no other financial resources * Family Court Support Worker Program -- victims of domestic violence involved in the family court process
Application Referral by police, emergency services, community agency or self referral * in most cases, consent of the client is obtained before providing service * on-scene immediate assistance requests are from police, fire and paramedics only * follow-up, on-going support and referral requests are handled through the main office during regular business hours * individuals can self-refer from our website
