Description (Service) Agricultural based youth development program * personal development of youth is the primary purpose of 4-H * members are encouraged to develop self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, and a positive self-image * members are helped develop their skills in communication, leadership, problem-solving and goal-setting * members are offered the opportunity to learn about livestock, food production, heritage and culture of Ontario * volunteer adult 4-H leaders work with youth and receive resources and training to help in planning and presenting information in a fun and learning atmosphere

Meetings Association meetings in Glenburnie United Church, second Thursday of the month * Club meetings held at various locations in the county

Eligibility Ages: 9 year(s) - 21 year(s) 
Children and youth 9-21 years old before January 1st of the current year * volunteers should be 21 years and older 
Cloverbuds program: children 6-8 years old before January 1st of the current year
Application Contact Ann Babcock * all volunteers undergo an application process involving Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)/City Police screening and interview * police check every three years and training required
