Description (Service) Promotes education on the history of the United Nations (UN), and peacekeeping missions involving Canadian personnel, by providing speakers on related topics * supports troops who are on UN peacekeeping missions * meetings are open to the public * social functions throughout the year * associated with National Peacekeepers Day on August 9 * participates in three different Remembrance Day services in the Kingston area
