| Description (Service) | Organization promoting cycling as a viable and healthy alternative transportation means in Kingston * public education and outreach * community events, activities and education programs * runs cycling skills and safety clinics throughout the spring, summer and fall * holds special events such as Cycling Week in June * provides free, secure bicycle parking at community special events * offers one-on-one "ride-along" * provides educational presentations at schools, workplaces, or community associations * offers week-long active summer camps in partnership with Queen's University's Sport Camps * operates Gear UP recycled bicycles: a shop employing youth who repair and resell donated bicycles at affordable prices |
