Description & Services
Description (Service) Cooperative venture between the criminal justice system and the mental health system, to provide direct service to individuals who have mental health issues and who have been charged with a minor criminal offense * offers family support * provides a post charge treatment alternative to divert individuals from the criminal justice process * a diversion plan will address the mental health factors contributing to the offense * the opportunity for diversion is also available for individuals with a Dual Diagnosis (mental health issues and intellectual disability) with a staff resource person dedicated to this population
