Description & Services
Description (Service) Specialized medical treatment program for sexual assault and domestic violence * provides 24 hours a day/seven days a week emergency medical and nursing care including treatment for sexually transmitted infection and the provision of birth control; forensic collection and documentation in the form of the sexual assault evidence kit (SAEK) and crisis counselling, safety planning, medical and social work follow-up to adult victims (16 years and older) who have been sexually assaulted * provides support, treatment and referral to Lanark County Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Program

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
Sexual assault/domestic violence survivors 16 years and older should be seen within 72 hours of the assault * children 15 years and under can be seen at any time * elements of the sexual assault evidence kit (SAEK) can be collected up to 12 days after the sexual assault
