Description (Service) Services and activities include for those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS): Information and referral * educational program for health professionals * public education * medical equipment loans program * support group meetings for patients and their caregivers * guest speakers provide insight and information on various topics of interest 
 
Opportunities for patients and caregivers to socialize and help each other by sharing ideas and experiences.
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
Areas Served Frontenac County ; Hastings County ; Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Lennox and Addington County ; Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Prince Edward County ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility ALS and Lou Gehrig's disease, patients must register with the society
Application Registration with the Society is normally done at the time of diagnosis
