Description (Service) Care and support to individuals (men, women and children) who have been victims of or affected by domestic violence, partner assault, sexual assault and historical sexual abuse 
 
Physical exam and treatment of injuries * evidence collection and forensic documentation * pregnancy prevention * testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections * nursing support * follow-up care and referrals 
 
Individual or group counselling (issues of sexual assault and domestic violence) * emotional support/coping strategies * risk assessment/safety planning * access to resources, referrals and advocacy * peer support drop in and counselling 
 
Raising awareness * training * answering questions * resources * presentations * training (domestic violence, sexual abuse, date rape and sexual harassment) * tailored individual presentations and seminars for professionals, community organizations, schools, youth groups and area businesses

Application For medical issues or photographs related to sexual assault/domestic violence, go to the Emergency Room at the Brockville General Hospital and ask for the Assault Response & Care Centre nurse on call * for counselling, public education, women's groups, drop in groups, call the office
