Clients learn how to better control their diabetes and prevent health-related complications through diet and exercise, regular blood sugar monitoring and proper medication use * support groups often available
Hours Mon-Wed 8 am-7 pm, Thu-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm
Meetings Diabetes connection support group Sep-Jun 2nd Mon, 3rd Mon if holiday
Areas Served Greater Madawaska ; Lanark County ; North Frontenac
Eligibility Open to adults with diabetes * being a client is not required for support group
