Description (Service) Family Law Information Centre * helps to meet the individual needs of clients, particularly clients who are not represented by a lawyer and are entering the court system for the first time * pamphlets and other publications on issues related to separation and divorce and child protection matters, including "What You Should Know About Family Law in Ontario" and the Ministry's Guide to Procedures in Family Court * information about other community resources to support families undergoing divorce or separation * information about family mediation services offered in this location * information about legal services and the court process * provides mandatory information sessions on the impact of separation and divorce on children and the legal issues and court process involved * an Information and Referral Coordinator can provide information on alternative dispute resolution options, issues related to separation and divorce and community resources * court staff can provide information about the court process and court forms * Advice Lawyer from Legal Aid Ontario who will provide summary legal advice (for those who qualify)
