Description (Service) Welcomes women who have recently arrived in the Ottawa region or who are experiencing life-altering changes * provides a setting for meeting and making new friends and getting to know Ottawa 
Activities: gallery and museum tours * golf * skiing * bridge * scrabble * crafts * dining out * book discussions * movie group * historical site visits, etc.
Hours The location, date and time of activities are outlined in the monthly newsletter.
Areas Served Ottawa (City of)
Eligibility Women who are new to the Ottawa area. Members usually join within the first year of residence and may belong for four years with an option to stay for a fifth. After this, members may decide to join the Ottawa Newcomers Alumni Club.
