Description (Service) |
Program offering adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to further develop their academic skills while building social skills within a college environment * students have the opportunity to participate in English, math, computers, current events, job search, and life skills * upon admission, an assessment will be completed in both English and math to provide the student with material corresponding to his/her own personal need * once the objectives have been determined, the student will continue to work independently at their own pace with the assistance of a Developmental Support Specialist * the first semester serves as a trial period and provides an opportunity to determine if this is the correct program for the student |
