| Description (Service) | To reunite people who live with chronic pain in the goal of reducing their isolation and to permit them to regain their personal integrity * to offer support to those afflicted, and to those close to them, in order to ameliorate their quality of life and their well-being * to educate professionals, caregivers and the public about the reality facing our members * to provide individuals, afflicted with chronic pain, with a supportive setting where they can renew hope, comfort and the joy of living * to offer the encouragement needed to surmount their condition by providing them with effective tools needed to better manage pain * to provide information and resources regarding health, well-being and traditional and complementary treatment options * To make known the challenges associated with chronic pain through conferences and workshops given by specialists. Services and activities: Intake, Information, Referral * Support groups * Workshops * Social activities and entertainment * Advocacy by telephone and appointment * Resource Center |

| Eligibility | Any person living with chronic pain, diagnosed or not. * Chronic pain is pain that has been present for more than six months, and that resists normal treatment, and that causes important physical, psychological and social consequences. Ex. Fibromyalgia, migraines, arthritis, osteoarthritis, chronic back pain, inflammatory diseases, etc. |
