Description & Services
Description (Service) Information and psychological/emotional support for persons who will or have undergone intestinal or urinary tract diversion surgery - colostomy, urostomy, ileostomy or ileo-anal reservoir. 
Meetings * supportive visiting service to ostomates, their families and caregivers 
Support is available before, during and after the hospital stay * visitors are trained volunteers who are matched by age, sex, and type of surgery * members are encouraged to bring their spouses, family and friends to the meetings
Hours Ostomy Helpline Mon-Sun 9 am-9 pm * leave a message after hours
Meetings Third Tuesday of the month 7:30 pm, September-November, January-May at 120 Central Park Dr, Ottawa * wheelchair accessible * free parking 
December and June meetings may be at a different date/location * no meetings July-August

Eligibility Open to all ages * persons who have undergone, or who will undergo, ostomy surgery - colostomy, urostomy, ileostomy or ileo-anal reservoir * family and friends * medical and spiritual care professionals * anyone interested in learning more about ostomy * non-members can also attend meetings.
