Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides the layperson with information about mental illness and addiction problems. Offers material and information on: specific mental illnesses * mental health legislation * community and family support * upcoming workshops and meetings. 
 
Information is available in many different formats such as books * video cassettes * brochures * pamphlets * newsletters * journals. Notices of relevant, current and upcoming events in and around the city are posted on the Library's bulletin board. 
 
Books and videos may be borrowed for a two-week period or viewed within the library.
Hours Mon-Fri 9:30 am-4:30 pm, 6 pm-9 pm * Sat-Sun 10 am-2 pm * Limited hours of operation during Holidays as well as between Christmas and New Year's
Areas Served Frontenac County ; Hastings County ; Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Lennox and Addington County ; Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Prince Edward County ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility Individuals who want information about mental disorders or addictions. The primary clients are those living with a mental illness or an addiction, as well as their families and friends. Health professionals, students, community agencies, schools and the general public are also welcome to use the Library.
