Description (Service) Consumer-based organization by and for Canadians who are hard of hearing * promotes the development of social, educational and employment environments * lobbies for accessibility by advising on the use of technical aids that enables the participation of people who are hard of hearing * strives for mandatory standards for hearing aids * seeks to guarantee the availability of specialized technical aids * public awareness programs * self-help for people who are hard of hearing
