Description & Services
Description (Service) City of Ottawa Child Care Registry and Waitlist (Subsidy) * helps parents find licensed child care for centre-based and home-based child care in Ottawa * full fee and subsidy available 
Parents must log in every 60 days to ensure their profile stays active and is up-to-date * parents will receive automatic notifications prompting them to log in * failure to log in to the system may result in their application(s) being de-activated after 120 days

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and under Families living in Ottawa with children 12 years and under (11 to 18 in exceptional circumstances) * parents must be working, looking for work, or going to school * parents must meet certain financial requirements and reason for care

The amount of subsidy is determined by an “income test” based on Line 236 of the most recent Federal Notice of Assessment for each parent * parents can try the Child Care Fee Subsidy Calculator to see if they qualify for a subsidy.
Application To apply to the Registry and/or Waitlist, parents can go online and select “Child Care Registry and Waitlist”. 
For calls about technical issues (problems with the browser, system errors and computer problems), parents can call or e-mail the technology provider OneHSN System by phone at 1-888-722-1540 or by e-mail at Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (with the ability to leave a message and calls will be returned the next business day). 
Parents who do not have access to a computer and/or Internet but still want to complete their application online can visit any of the Employment and Social Services Centres:
