Description & Services
Description (Service) Non-profit organization * directed and run by psychiatric consumer/survivors that provides peer support. 
 
For peers: 
* educational and fun workshops 
* social and recreational events 
* outings 
* support groups 
* volunteer opportunities 
* free meals are organized for the members (once per month) 
 
For friends and family of people experiencing mental health challenges: 
* Family Peer Support: Ongoing weekly drop in family support groups * weekly discussions on various topics such as communication strategies, boundaries, codependency, letting go of control etc. * coffee, snack, sense of community, companionship and support 
 
The Community Transitions Group: A support and social reconnection group that runs on Tuesdays * monthly brainstorm challenges and ideas around transitioning from hospital to community
Hours Mon, Wed, Fri 12 noon-7 pm * Tue, Thu 12 noon-4 pm * Sat, Sun 12 noon-6 pm

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Individuals 18 years or older having dealt with or dealing with mental health issues. * Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more about mental health issues.

Fees Membership - Free for community organizations and individuals who self disclose as living with mental health issues. Includes the use of computers, the library and a lounge area for socializing.
