Description & Services
Description (Service) COVID-19 (24 Mar 2020) The food bank is still opened. Lunches are still provided but as take-out only. The Carlington Chaplaincy (approximately 1/2 a block away) is providing take-out breakfast, so the Family Centre has stopped breakfast service.

Core programming includes: adult drop-in * week day breakfast and lunch * computer with Internet access * employment programs * community kitchen * After-School Programs for youth 6-14 years old * Clothing Depot * Christmas Hamper program * Baby Depot * Toy Library * Settlement support worker available
Hours Day Program: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm 
Food Bank: Tue-Thu 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm * Fri 9 am-noon, 1 pm-6 pm * Sat 9 am-1 pm 
Baby Depot & Toy Library: Wed 8:30 am-12 noon, Thu 1 pm-3 pm 
Clothing Depot: Wed 9 am - 12 noon, Thu and Fri 9 am - 2 pm 
Meal Program: breakfast Mon-Fri 8:30 am-11 am * lunch Mon-Fri 1 pm-2:30 pm

Boundaries For food bank: Carling Ave (North) to Hunt Club (South), Prince of Wales (East) to Woodroffe Ave (West) * No boundaries for meal program.

Always inform the callers of this possibility. The clients should provide their address to ensure they are oriented towards the right resource. If you are unsure of a referral, call the Food Bank.
