Description (Service) Information on genetics 
 
Clinical program of diagnosis * counselling and prenatal diagnosis * supporting laboratory services in the area of genetic disease and congenital malformations * genetic counselling for breast, ovarian, and colon familial cancers 
 
Program acts as the focal point for the regional prenatal diagnosis service which is offered for the early detection of abnormalities in specific at-risk pregnancies
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Frontenac County ; Hastings County ; Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Lennox and Addington County ; Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Prince Edward County ; Qu├ębec - Western ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility Families where there is concern regarding a known or suspected genetic/hereditary disease or where a child is born with a birth defect
