Description & Services
Description (Service) Information for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, and their families and friends, via presentations, guest speakers, newsletters and a membership kit containing ingredient lists, recipes, lists of suppliers of gluten-free foods, etc. 
* Assists in the education of professionals and the public with reference to the general management of the disease and the gluten-free diet; 
* Information about where to buy and how to prepare special foods for those who have to eat gluten free; 
* Holds at least four events meetings every year which feature speakers, vendors of gluten-free food, etc.
Hours There are no office hours
Meetings Meetings are held at the Riverside United Church (3191 Riverside Dr, Ottawa). Large events take place in September, December, February, and June at either 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm (depending on whether food is served). Special meetings for those newly diagnosed or having questions about celiac disease or the gluten-free diet are held three of four times a year on a similar schedule. Fully accessible; free parking.
