Description & Services
Description (Service) Recovery program * 32-bed inpatient unit * provides recovery focused treatment within a six month average length of stay for clients suffering with severe and persistent mental illness * the interdisciplinary team supports each patient in helping to determine goals which will facilitate patients in moving back into the community to live as independently as possible * patients may access available community supports while in the program 
Staffed by a interdisciplinary team including: psychiatrists * nurses * personal care attendants * occupational and recreation therapists * social workers * peer support worker

Areas Served Frontenac County ; Hastings County ; Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Lennox and Addington County ; Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Prince Edward County ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
Individuals 18 years and older, with a Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th Edition (DSM IV) diagnosis, capable of engaging in the recovery process and function in the community
Application Clients must be admitted to the program from hospitals across the Champlain region or from home through community agencies * call to obtain a referral package
