Description & Services
Description (Service) Educational course for family, caregivers and friends of individuals living with mental illness * provides critical information and coping strategies, using presentations, discussions and exercises* class limited to 25 * 10 sessions of 2.5 hours, generally one evening a week * taught by trained family members of individuals living with mental illness  
Drop-in mutual support group for caregivers of a person with a mental illness is also available * volunteer opportunity available
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Sep-May * Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm, Jun-Aug * mutual support group third Thu of the month 7 pm-8:30 pm at the Orleans United Church

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
Individuals 18 years and older * designed for loved ones of individuals living with a mental illness * the course is not appropriate for individuals living with a mental illness themselves
