Description & Services
Description (Service) Administers the Ontario Medications Return Program (OMRP) and the Ontario Sharps Collection Program (OSCP) in many pharmacies in Ontario. * Encourages the efficient collection and safe disposal of unused or expired health products returned by the public in provinces having regulations requiring industry stewardship programs. * List of local pharmacies or other drop-off sites for collection and returns is available on the website.
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm
Areas Served Ontario
Eligibility Ontario residents * clinics, doctors, hospitals, long-term care facilities, pharmacies, etc. are not eligible to dispose of their medical waste through these programs
Application Visit the website for locations to return unused and expired prescriptions, over the counter drugs, natural health products, and sharp medical devices. * drop-in
