Description (Service) Resource established to help prevent the abandonment or surrender of animals when their families cannot afford to feed them * provides temporary food assistance to qualifying low income pet owners who are currently unable to afford food for their pets and may be forced to give up their pets without food assistance * drop offs are available for homebound recipients

Eligibility Low income individuals * if a client's normal income is above the federal poverty line, the organization can still consider their case if they can prove their temporary, financial hardship with appropriate documentation, such as recent job loss, major illness in the family, or unexpected major bills * one applicant/pet per household * pet must be spayed/neutered (grace period available)
