Description & Services
Description (Service) Transportation service to medical and other quality of life enhancing appointments * accessible vehicles available * provides a door-to-door service * clients must arrange their own escorts if needed * children and young people under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Hours Mon-Fri 6 am-6 pm * evenings or weekend transportation can be accommodated but not guaranteed
Areas Served Lanark County ; Smiths Falls
Eligibility Families, seniors, children, youth, other others who need to attend medical appointments, day programs, counselling services, social service appointments, food programs, etc. * Must be a resident of Lanark County or the Town of Smiths Falls, but can travel to appointments in Ottawa, Kingston and other locations as well as within the County
Application New clients must register by phone or through the website * rides should be booked two to three weeks before the appointment, although attempts to accommodate last minute requests are often successful

Fees Service - fee * a subsidy is available for low income users ; Clients who are registered with Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program usually have their transportation costs directly reimbursed by that agency once approval is obtained from their worker. * Fee assistance available.
