Description & Services
Description (Service) Paramedics operating in expanded role to provide routine healthcare services, including: 
 
* in-house assessment and treatment of flu-like symptoms 
* Wellness Checks: blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and assessment, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, ECG monitoring 
* falls risk assessments 
* home safety scan 
* poly-pharmacy reviews 
* social environment assessment 
* care coordination and integration with health team 
* communication with Primary Care Physician or Nurse Practitioner 
* treatment planning and associated test 
* coordination with community programs and services to improve client social interactions
