Physical Access Fully Accessible ; Both the Mama's Restaurant and the Naismith Men's Shed are fully accessible to people using wheelchairs, including adapted parking spaces and accessible washrooms.
Description & Services
Description (Service) Peer-run group dedicated to men, including those living in social isolation, for ex. after retirement * offering a gathering place, involving a work space in which men get together, stay productive and do projects to benefit the community 
 
In partnership with the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) where NMS has acquire the custodianship of an actual Men’s Shed and additional meeting space located at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area, near Almonte; in return, shed members volunteer to help park staff maintain the conservation area * an opportunity to share skills and to socialize * meeting at restaurant for breakfast twice a month  
 
Independent organization, no strings attached * inclusive and respectful * other locations in Eastern Ontario: Arnprior, Carleton Place and Perth

Meetings * First and third Thursday of the month, 8 am: breakfast at Mama's Place Restaurant, 413 Ottawa St,, Almonte * second and fourth Thursday of the month, 10 am: shed meeting at The Gatehouse's meeting room, Mill of Kintail
