Description (Service) Full-time, non-governmental ombudsman and public advocate for the Ottawa River. 
 
Pollution Hotline: Confidential public phone line and electronic form to report activities potentially threatening the health of local waterways and shorelines. Online form and additional information here 
 
Riverwatch Program: Volunteering program for citizens to help protect the Ottawa River. 
 
The Swim Guide: Free smartphone application and online map with local, up-to-date and historical water quality information. More information available on the website 
 
Beachkeeper Program: Educational beach adoption program for groups of youth to clean shorelines, conduct tests, learn about the local environment.
