Description (Service) Helps mothers during pregnancy, labor, birth and up to six weeks after the child is born * women have the choice of a home or hospital birth * accepts student placement from midwifery programs * midwives have privileges at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and Almonte General Hospital
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Ottawa - West ; Renfrew County
Boundaries Carleton Place - within a 50 km radius
Eligibility Healthy pregnant women with a low-risk pregnancy who are residents of Ontario
Application Call or fill out online intake form * doctor's referral not required
