Description (Service) Provides support to clients of all ages in equine assisted programs * support participants to discover the skills required to engage with horses in a unique learning environment * focuses on building communication and relationship skills * participants experience physical and mental/emotional changes to support a renewed sense of self-confidence and awareness * clients engage with horses in mounted and un-mounted activities that reflect personal goals and initiate a respectful * safe and mutually beneficial relationship with a horse * Sessions may be individual * with family members or in a group setting * The War Horse Project is a program for Veterans & First Responders coping with the effects of trauma * Mindfulness with horses
