Provides fun, safe and meaningful opportunities for youth to be involved in the community through facilitated weekly meetings with youth. Events are youth-driven and so are reflective of current youth engaged. Past events include youth dances, indoor and outdoor movie screenings, mobile canteen services and community gardens.
Recently NHYIA developed a new social enterprise operating the canteen at North Hastings Community Center. Currently NHYIA Board is seeking youth and adult volunteers to help with this project. Criminal background check is required for those 18 and over.
