Description & Services
Description (Service) As a community-based mental health agency, they help people over the age of 16 who have a mental illness or mental health concerns. Because they are funded by the Southeast Local Health Integration Network (SE LHIN) and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, services are free. 
They work with people who have Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorder, Severe Anxiety, Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 
The staff travel throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties to work with people in their homes or in the community. 
The services include Case Management*Counselling*Court Diversion*Hospital Liaison*Housing*Social and Recreational programs*Skills Training Groups*Client Advocacy*Family Support and Education

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
have to be diagnosed mental illness
Application Call Central Intake (310-6736) to make a referral. They will forward to MHS with their assessment for us to triage. MHS will write an acknowledgment letter that they are on our waiting list and will be taken onto caseload as soon as possible.
