Description & Services
Description (Service) Well-trained and well-equipped, St. John Ambulance Medical First Responder (MFR) volunteers attend countless public events across Ontario to provide basic and advanced first aid. In case of a medical emergency our volunteers are prepared to provide the first response casualty care necessary to save a life, prevent further injury or provide comfort until emergency medical services arrive.
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon * 1 pm-4 pm Community Service available 24/7
Meetings Weekly, Thursday evenings
Areas Served Hastings County ; Northumberland County ; Prince Edward County ; City of Belleville; City of Quinte West
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Volunteers should be 16+ and hold a recognized valid Standard First Aid certificate with CPR Level B (minimum)
Application Volunteers should contact the office to apply and for more information on St. John Ambulance's volunteer screening policy (which includes a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening) * To book the group for an event, call the office for details
