Description (Service) The Stewardship Program recognizes that decisions about land stewardship are made by individual landowners and works with them to determine community stewardship priorities. The Council and the Stewardship Coordinator plan programs and locate resources to meet the land stewardship needs of the community. Our mission is to improve and sustain the long term health of our agricultural and natural resources. This includes but is not limited to woodlots, wildlife and shorelines; develop relationships and partnerships in the community that help to service the needs with respect to stewardship of natural resources and develop and promote good land stewardship through education and workshops for present and future owners and users of the land.
