Description (Service) A non-profit, community-based environmental protection organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and managing local natural resources within the Lower Trent Conservation watershed region. Agency works to safeguard and restore rivers, lakes and streams, protect and restore natural habitats, protect lives and property from natural hazards like flooding and/or erosion, and provide opportunities for the public to learn from, enjoy and respect the natural environment. Lower Trent Conservation owns close to 3,700 acres of land that protect the natural heritage of the region and provides outstanding outdoor recreational opportunities, where nature comes first!
